DELIVERY IN THE UK

Parcels over 1 kilo in weight are despatched by Parcelforce 48 hour service and will require a signature on delivery. There is a standard contribution of £4.50 to postage and packing costs.

Small parcels, less than 1 kilo, are despatched by 1st class Royal Mail and are usually received next day or within 48 hours. There is a standard contribution of £2.50 to postage and packing costs.

For urgent deliveries, receipt by 12 noon next day, we can offer this service by Royal Mail. A signature will be required on delivery. There is a standard charge of £7.50 for this service. Available for parcels under 2 kilos only.

Please note that deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland will take 2 days minimum.

Delivery charges are for each order regardless of size and quantities of parcels. Should we have to despatch a ‘To Follow’ order you will not be charged postage again.

Delivery charges are as outlined above and we will assume your acceptance of the charged stated. Should you wish to have confirmation of exact charge before delivery takes place, please add this instruction to the Comments box on the order page. Delivery will be delayed until we receive your agreement to the shipping charge quoted.

Should you wish your order to be delivered overseas then the delivery scales for delivery within the EC are as stated in Delivery in the EC. For deliveries to non EC we will provide an individual quote.

All postage charges are not refundable, except in the case of faulty items that need to be exchanged.

The above delivery scales super cede all current and past rates on any of our literature.

DELIVERY IN THE EC

Parcels of value less than £50 will be charged a standard delivery of £5.00, to be delivered by Royal Mail.

Parcels of value over £50.00 will be charged a standard delivery charge of £10.00, to be delivered by either Royal Mail International Registered, Parcelforce Euro 48 or Parcelforce International Scheduled. A signature will be required at time of delivery.

There are certain items, such as wellingtons and waders, that are very heavy relative to value and are not available on standard delivery terms. We would be happy to quote a delivery charge and charge this at cost.

Delivery times within the EC are 2– 10 days depending on location.

DELIVERY OUTSIDE THE EC

Delivery to non EC countries is Free of Charge as the VAT element in the price of your goods is used as a contribution to delivery costs. See Terms and Conditions for further information. Should you wish to be billed exclusive of VAT we will quote a postage and packing charge at cost. Please add this instruction in the Comments box of the order page.

Delivery will be by Royal Mail, Royal Mail Registered or Parcelforce International Scheduled, dependent on type and weight of parcel.

Please note that heavy items relative to value cannot be despatched under standard delivery terms. If required we will quote delivery price (charged at cost only).

Non-VATable items, Children’s Bedale and Liddesdale, also cannot be despatched on standard delivery terms – we can provide delivery charge (at cost).

Should you wish your order to bew delivered to any destination other than country of order delivery terms for UK and EC will apply as if delivered from the UK. Destinations to another non EC country will require an individual quote.

It should be noted that overseas parcels may be subject to local taxes and / or duty over which we have no control and for which we cannot accept liability.

PAYMENT DETAILS

Our preferred method of payment is by credit or debit card. We can accept the following:

Your card will not be charged until despatch of your order.

For Made to Measure and alteration services for new Barbour jackets your card will, however, be charged prior to delivery as such items are individually made and non returnable to stock.

Payment by cheque is also welcome but despatch will be delayed by up to 5 days awaiting clearance.

Payment by Bank Transfer is also available – please ask for details. STOCK AVAILABLILITY

Where your ordered items are in stock we aim, on all occasions, to despatch same day as order – deadline 4:00 pm BST.

Whilst we endeavour to carry stock of all products within the Barbour range we cannot ensure permanent availability of every line. Should we be out of stock of any product we will inform you of realistic lead times, based on availability from Barbour.
